MODA Fashion Show

Last Thursday, I was invited to MODA fashion show which was held at ONE UTAMA new wing concourse. Thank You, Joyce for the invite! I brought some of my friends along for the fashion show. Guess who were the lucky people? If you wanna know, just scroll down and look at the pictures. You can see their names below the pics. Alright, let me conclude on the fashion show. I didn't really like the fashion show because it was too draggy towards the end. The collection was an OK only for me; some of the pieces has no originality and some of it were too much. Tha fashion show kicked off with Ms Gillian Hung aka Mama G, founder of MODA which gave a speech and emcee Edwin Sumun. When I first saw Edwin Sumun, he reminded me of Boy George because of his bald head and his fantastic eye makeup(long feathery eyelashes by Shu Uemura) which resembles a lot to Boy George. Then, the fashion show went on with some of the boring pieces and some of the collection were pretty nice and not so bad after all. My favourite will be the bridal dress and the newspaper dresses. It's brilliant!! Then, I got all hyper like an energizer bunny when I saw Utt's brother look-alike again wearing nerdy glasses with preppy look. I was so high and I thought it was because of the alcohol. It wasn't, it's the utt brother model who made me go GAGA and high. Even, Chee Hoe was fanning me to cool me down. After, utt brother I saw my good looking nerd model. Oops, I forgot to mention this. When Steph and I were waiting for the two guys who went to the toilet, I saw the good looking nerd model standing at the corner back of the stage. My face turned tomato red at that instant, so I decided to pull Steph away and we hid at the corner of Guess shop cos I didn't want him to notice that I was actually looking at him. Then, Steph said "Mel, we should wait for Kaze and Chee Hoe. Remember, they're still in the toilet?" I was like "Oh, yeah. I totally forgotten. I think I'm nervous right now and I don't know why". So, yeah! That's about it. Anyway, the pics didn't turn out nice and a little bit pixelated 'cos I used my digital camera instead of my Nikon Neo.

One of my favourites; The Newspaper dresses
I like the wedding gown which I find it very simple yet classy. Chee Hoe likes the model. It will be superb if his Taylor Swift have worn that dress. I think Chee Hoe will be drooling all over the place.

What we wore...
Chee Hoe looking good in a long sleeve stripe shirt and keeping it simple with denim jeans + white bowler shoes. (Love the fact that he rolled up his sleeves but I don't like the shades where he placed at the chess part. It looks weird.)
I love what Kaze wore. His outfit reminded me of some guy from The sartorialist. I love his shoes and my Ray Ban glasses on him especially.
Steph wore a grey top and matches it with shorts while I wore a purple vintage dress. You should see our cool shoes but unfortunately you can't 'cos the picture is like that(without the shoes). Anyway, Chee Hoe took this picture.
I heart what Joyce is wearing especially her leopard print top and look at those shoes. I Love it!! I think I saw one like that at ZARA if I'm not mistaken. ZARA, here i come!!
