Two weeks back, I attended Harper's BAZAAR Photography Exhibition which was held at The Gardens Mall with Kaze. We arrived at Megamall early, so we decided to go have a tiny peek at the setting of the event at the Gardens concourse area. When we got there, we were so shocked to see the guests were all dressed up elegantly and nicely in; ladies-dresses and men- tux/suit/coat and etc. Well, most of them wore all black. So Kaze said, "OMG! How lah I'm not dressed formal?".
I said "OMG! I'm like the only colourful blue hippy and OMG! It's MR. Moscow! He looks so handsome and super good looking in that suit. How lah I can't let him see me like that? I think he's so going to laugh at me?'Cos I'm like the only bluegirl here".

So, Kaze went to his car and changed into his black top. Thank, God! He brought an extra top. While he went to changed, I went to MPH to get a notepad which I need it to jot down stuff while interviewing people at the event. So after we're all settled, we went to the exhibition. They were like so many people and everybody were mingling around. I was really tired that day cos I had college in the morning and then we went out with our collegemates to OU. So, Kaze decided to become my photographer:) Thanks, Kaze. Guess, who I met? I met the Chief-Editor of harper's BAZAAR Magazine Msia, Natasha Kraal. I talked to her and interviewed her. Gosh, she's really nice and I asked her ;
"how does it feels like being an editor of HB?"
She said, "It's really nice and wonderful. It's my dream job eversince I was young."
"Is your job similar to Willamina from UGLY BETTY?"
"Nope. Well, Ugly Betty is just full of drama. It's totally different than the real world."
I told her that I hope to be an editor or creative director for a fashion magazine one day. She told me to just go for it and don't give up easily on my dreams:) She's such an angel. Anyway, I'm going to cut things short. The photography exhibition was awesome. I love all the pictures; very editorial and high fashion. I was quite sad though that I didn't got the chance to take pic with Mr.Moscow cos he left early:( Argh!!!Melly, you are so dumb!!!You shouldn't have linger time. Okay, this is so weird. I think I just scolded myself. Anyhoo, I got to enjoy a free make-up session from DIOR:) ~wee. Ciaoz x.

Check out my post for Harper's BAZAAR photography exhibition at Tongue in Chic!

Last Wednesday, my mass comm lecturer, Mr. Tan Meng Yoe gave our class a task which was to go outside (Damansara Uptown) to take pictures of signage, billboards, ads and etc. Well, technically we have to take pictures of whatever signage that just catches our eyes. Mr. Tan divided my class into three groups; Debra's group, Martin's group and Shayne's group. BTW, I'm in Shayne's group with Iness, Kaze, Steph, Jess, Mic, Chee Hoe and Ham Siam. Anyway, I remembered I was late for class that day like super late. I was late for one hour. So, I went to meet up with Shayne and the bunch at mamak. I was so surprised to know that I'm not the only late one for class. It seems that someone who is so punctual was the latest and the last to come for class. Guess who is that person? Let me give you a clue, it rhymes with ZE....It's KAZE!! haha, I know. After mamak, we went around DU to lookout for interesting signage. I passed my NikonNeo DSLR to Iness to take pictures cos I was lazy at that time. I was still on my sleepy mode. Then, we went to 7-11 store and guess who I saw on the front cover of men UNO Magazine. It's Rain! *drools

When I flipped the pages of the magazine, I saw Peter Davis and Mr.Moscow pictures in it. They looked so hott!! Anyway, I didn't buy it but Kaze did:) I took lots of pics of the magazine itself. Kaze thought I was insane. hehe. I was shocked to know that the men's UNO magazine reports fashion events very late.I can't believe that they report events late.The fashion show/event which Peter Davis for Massimo Dutti & Pull and Bear SS09 and Mr.Moscow for Gardens fashion show posts were like two months ago. I remembered attending those events and I reported those events like three days after the fashion show for Tongue in Chic. Alright, I better sign off now. Ciaoz x

Last Friday was labour's day which means I have a day off from work. Yay! I had lunch with Inessa's parents and her mum's friends + Chee Hoe. We had lunch at My Elephant, a Thai Restaurant located at Happy Mansion, section 17. The food was fabulous. I ordered my favourite dish which is the pineapple fried rice. Yummy! Then, we went to a nearby cafe which is just behind the Thai restaurant for desserts. Inessa's mum ordered many types of cakes and I can't really remember the names for the cakes. I liked the butter creamy bread pudding than the cakes. The cakes tasted like milk and I don't like milk. Poor thing, Chee Hoe couldn't eat the cake because it tasted super milky and geli. So, he went to the toilet. I enjoyed my lunch. After that, Ines, Chee Hoe and I went to Tropicana Mall for boardgames at Starbucks. We played some building game which I can't remember the name of the game. I played for awhile and then my girlfriends came to pick me up for another lunch outing. Jo drove Wen & I to Damansara Perdana for late lunch. We had our late lunch at this amazing restaurant with a super nice ambience but the restaurant name doesn't suit the place at all. It's called Friendster Restaurant, so PARIA-ISH. But the food was nice except for the cakes. Jo said it was dry. Later, we went to One Utama for shopping. We didn't really shop but instead we were stalking after this Russian male model. Actually, I'm the one who was stalking him. I saw him from level 3 new wing when he was doing a catwalk fashion show at lower ground concourse. I dragged my besties and we all went to lower ground to have a better view of the hot russian model. I took out my nikon neo and took a few shots of him but the pics didn't turn out that nice 'cos my hands shaked. I was so high when I saw him on stage and my girlfriends thought that I was completely crazy. If he wears nerdy glasses that time, I think I'll faint straight away. Then, when the fashion show was over, we went to Kitschen and I bought a fedora and Jo bought an ultra cool aviators. After that, we all were walking our way to the old wing 'cos wen needs to get her sis stuff. From nowhere, Jo spotted the russian model who dressed really simple, to be exact; he wore a black sleeveless top where you can see his muscles and abs. Okay, I can't believe I just said that. Anyway, we went to level one so that I can sneaked/stalked him from upstairs. I took out my nikon neo and started snapping pics of him with his friends. I just discovered something, I saw the russian model like 3-4 times at fashion shows and no wonder, he looks familiar to me. I like the way he smiles but jo said when he smiles, he looks so gay. Whatever,Jo!! I can continue blabbering about this Mr. Moscow dude but I think I should stop and let the pictures explain the whole situation. By the way, thanks Inessa and Aunty Veron for inviting me to lunch + Jo & Wen for such a wonderful weekend.
